What does Nano-Emulsified mean?

An article published by the US National Library of Medicine defines nano-emulsion as a “fine oil/water or water/oil dispersion stabilized by an interfacial film of surfactant molecule having droplet size range 20–600nm.”

In normal everyday terms, the molecules have been turned into much smaller versions of their original form, causing them to absorb quicker, and therefore delivering the desired results quicker.
