Delta-9 THC and Delta-8 THC can both get you high, even though most people say they achieve a slightly different experience. That difference is due to bond strength between CB1 receptors and THC molecules.
Delta-9 THC bonds more strongly with the body’s CB1 receptors which produces more extreme feelings of paranoia, anxiety, and other classic “high” side effects. It can also serve as a strong sedative.
In contrast, Delta-8 THC bonds more weakly with CB1 receptors, producing a notably milder high. Researchers have not studied D8 as much as delta-9 THC or CBD, yet available evidence including anecdotal stories from users suggests the gentler delta-8 weed high allows for a more focused and clear-headed experience.
Perhaps the biggest benefit of using Delta-8 THC is that it is less likely to produce those side effects like anxiety and paranoia. That isn’t to say it isn’t intoxicating—it is!
According to the 2018 Farm Bill, Delta-8 THC is legal in most US states. However, it’s illegal to buy Delta-8 THC gummies today in the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Rhode Island, North Dakota, Utah or Vermont. I'd suggest not eating a whole gummy the first time, especially if you need to work the next day, bc sleep is near impossible. The high was very intense. Closing my eyes, I saw so many amazing and beautiful places I'd never before seen. It was awesome, but, a LOT. I felt like I was astral traveling in my dreams, but, I was still awake, just had my eyes closed. It was like my mind was flying all over the place. So, it was both incredible but, mentally exhausting at the same time.
